With environmental concerns becoming more urgent than ever, students from the Interpersonal Dynamics and Character Building (IDCB) course at Tishk International University (TIU) took action with a hands-on project titled “Environmental Action: Tree Planting and Clean-Up.”
Conducted on May 21, 2025, this initiative combined reforestation efforts with a city clean-up campaign, teaching both the students and the local community about the importance of maintaining clean, green, and livable urban environments.
The students began their project by planting native trees across selected areas near the university campus and local neighborhoods. Working with environmental volunteers and local authorities, they chose drought-tolerant species to ensure long-term sustainability.
