On September 22, 2024, a delegation from Tishk International University (TIU) visited Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU). The primary purpose of the visit was to discuss academic collaboration and extend a formal invitation to EPU staff to participate in the upcoming International Conference on Accounting, Business, Economics, and Politics (ICABEP). The TIU delegation included Mr. Karwan Sherwani, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Mr. Fayeq Ali Ali, Head of the Department of Business and Management, and Mr. Omar Farouk Al Mashhour, a Lecturer in Business and Management and a member of the ICABEP organizing committee.
The TIU delegation was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsin Sharif Salih, Dean of the Administrative College, Dr. Shirzad Mohammed Mahdi Sourchi, Head of International Marketing and Languages at the Technical College of Administration, and Mr. Zanyar Jabar Rashid, a Lecturer in Business Administration Techniques at EPU.
During the visit, EPU staff provided the TIU delegation with a guided tour of their facilities. They showcased state-of-the-art classrooms and other new research facilities that support academic growth and innovation. This tour provided valuable insight into EPU’s strong commitment to excellence in education and research. Beyond the conference invitation, the discussions also explored future collaboration, including joint academic projects, exchange programs, and resource-sharing to benefit both institutions. EPU representatives also proposed several workshops to enhance the academic environment and facilitate knowledge exchange.
