As an alumnus of the International relations and Diplomacy Department at Tishk International University , I can confidently say that my time there was transformative. The rigorous curriculum not only deepened my understanding of political theory and practice, but also sharpened my analytical and critical thinking skills. Engaging with passionate professors and diverse viewpoints prepared me for a successful career in public service. The program’s emphasis on real-world applications and internships provided invaluable experience, equipping me to navigate and impact the political landscape effectively. I am grateful for the foundation this program laid for my professional journey and continued growth in the fields of Politics and International Relations and Diplomacy. It is worth mentioning that the Department itself is broader than its name (International Relations and Diplomacy), as it consists of several courses that delve deeper into Political Science, Economics, Foreign Policy, History, Geopolitics , Due Diligence, Protocol and Etiquette and so on.<\/div>\n

In view of the above, I can wholeheartedly recommend the International Relations and Diplomacy program. The education I received was both comprehensive and engaging, covering everything from International Relations and Political Theory to practical governance. The faculty’s expertise and dedication were instrumental in shaping my understanding of global and local political systems. Finally, I would like to thank my lecturers who worked really hard and helped me to get complete knowledge about my program, International Relations and Diplomacy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

After prep-school graduation, most of the available options in the country for Political and International Relations studies were not too attractive. The options were missing crucial qualities that make a department worthy of studying, from the set curriculums, staff experiences, languages of study, reputation\/exposure, academic activities, and field trips. Then I came across the department of International Relations and Diplomacy (IRD) at Tishk International University (TIU).<\/p>\n

TIU provided me with all the qualities mentioned and more. Throughout my TIU journey, I was exposed to complex and comprehensive topics in history, law, economics, philosophy, political thought, and security. The exposure developed my critical thinking abilities and earned me valuable opportunities in different programs and internships<\/p>\n

The lecturing staff is one of the best in such academic disciplines in the KRI due to their overseas experiences and mixture of youth and wisdom. The classroom experience is a lot of fun and a bit challenging to some extent, due to the different styles used to educate and motivate the students. The styles of classroom teaching range from presentations, seminars, workshops, discussions, individual\/group projects and practical and theoretical sessions, with many high-level guests visiting to discuss trending political topics and their journeys.<\/p>\n

But the most significant point is the career outcomes TIU\u2019s IRD offer students after graduation. Looking past the excellent alumni network, the department\u2019s degree offers a vast, comprehensive, and flexible choice for a line of work. Some of the popular sectors that the degree enables a graduate to work in include professions in academia, security, politics, consultancy, diplomacy, IGOs and NGOs, and public policy.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, I aim for excellence and quality, and such features are a stable of TIU\u2019s IRD. If you have the same aims, then TIU\u2019s IRD is for you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

As an alumna of the International Relations Department, I am honored to share my testimonial and express my profound gratitude for the transformative educational experience I received during my time there. The International Relations Department not only equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of global affairs but also instilled in me a profound appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.<\/p>\n

The faculty members in the department were exceptional in their expertise and commitment to nurturing critical thinking and analytical skills. Their passion for international relations was infectious and inspired me to explore complex issues, challenge conventional wisdom, and develop a nuanced understanding of the world we live in. The professors not only imparted theoretical knowledge but also shared practical insights from their own experiences, enriching our learning journey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One aspect that truly sets the International Relations Department apart is its emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches. Through a wide range of courses, I was able to explore various disciplines such as economics, history, political science, and sociology, among others. This interdisciplinary approach broadened my perspective and allowed me to connect the dots between different fields of study, preparing me to navigate the complexities of global issues with a holistic mindset.<\/div>\n
Moreover, the department provided ample opportunities for hands-on learning and engagement beyond the classroom. I had the privilege of participating in various simulations, conferences, and internships, which enhanced my practical skills and exposed me to real-world challenges in international relations.<\/div>\n

Lastly, the department’s commitment to supporting its alumni extends well beyond graduation. Even after completing my studies, I have continued to benefit from the extensive alumni network, career resources, and mentorship opportunities provided by the department.
