National Workshop on Role of Forensic Accountants in the Detection and Prevention of Fraud<\/h4>\n

The Department of Accounting, Banking and Finance,\u00a0<\/span>Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics<\/span><\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>Tishk International University<\/span><\/a>\u00a0recently held an informative workshop titled\u00a0<\/span>Role of Forensic Accountants in the Detection and Prevention of Fraud<\/span><\/strong>. The main focus of the workshop was to educate the attendees on the importance of forensic accounting in detecting and preventing fraud in businesses and organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Waqar Ahmad<\/span><\/a>, Head of Accounting, Banking & Finance Department, delivered the opening speech, welcoming the attendees and highlighting the importance of such events in promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ghousia Khatoon<\/span><\/a>\u00a0began her presentation by explaining forensic accounting and how it differs from traditional accounting. She went on to describe the various methods used by forensic accountants to detect fraudulent activities such as embezzlement, bribery, and money laundering. The speaker also emphasized the importance of ethical behaviour and professionalism in the field of forensic accounting, stating that forensic accountants must adhere to strict ethical standards in order to maintain their credibility and effectiveness in their work. The workshop was highly interactive, with attendees asking questions and engaging in discussions with the speaker. Many attendees expressed appreciation for the opportunity to learn from an expert in forensic accounting. The workshop was held in the education building and was attended by students and faculty members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Hussaini Bala<\/span><\/a>\u00a0gave the concluding speech, thanking the speaker and the attendees for their participation and emphasizing the university\u2019s commitment to providing high-quality workshops on essential topics that will be beneficial to all students.<\/span><\/p>\n
