Accounting Department Celebrates International Accounting Day<\/h4>\n

The Department of Accounting, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Tishk International University (TIU)<\/a> \u00a0is glad to join the international community in celebrating International Accounting Day, an annual occasion that recognizes the vital role of accountants and financial professionals in driving global economic growth, ensuring financial transparency, and upholding ethical standards. It provides an opportunity to appreciate their dedication and contributions to the business world. November 10th is designated as International Accounting Day.<\/p>\n

The event was opened by the Academic Vice President Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, and opening remarks were delivered by the Head of Accounting Department, Professor Ghousia Khatoon. Department students from all grades and staff members as well as TIU Bursary Office Staff also participated in this event. Posters with inscriptions of accounting quotes, accounting standards and pictures of prominent accounting experts were beautifully exhibited at the venue.<\/p>\n

During this event, the Department of Accounting appreciated its staff, and the university also took this opportunity to thank and appreciate TIU Accounting Office staff as well for their hard work and dedication. The gifts were presented to the staff by Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir and Professor Ghousia Khatoon.<\/p>\n
