National Workshop on Forex Market<\/h4>\n

In collaboration with\u00a0<\/span>VARINFX<\/span><\/a>, the Department of\u00a0<\/span>Banking and Finance<\/span><\/a> held a National Workshop titled:<\/span>\u00a0An Introduction to the Biggest Financial Market in the World (The Forex Market),\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>held on 23rd November 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

The primary purpose of the workshop is to expose the students to a first-class, real world-business experience of the corporate world, as well as gain the opportunity to ask questions and clear some misconceptions regarding the practice of financial market trading in Kurdistan, especially those relating to the Forex market. To this aim, the department collaborated with\u00a0<\/span>VARINFX<\/span><\/a>, one of the oldest brokers and trading partners in Kurdistan, to enlighten the audience on the business practice of trading in the world\u2019s most prominent type of financial market in terms of trade volume (The Forex Market).<\/span><\/p>\n

After the opening speech delivered by\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Abubakar Karaye<\/span>, Lecturer in the Departments of\u00a0<\/span>Accounting<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Banking, and Finance,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0the topics of the workshop were discussed by the CEO of<\/span>\u00a0VARINFX<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Mr. Gezim Vuca<\/span><\/a>, followed by two of the leading staff of\u00a0<\/span>VARINFX<\/span><\/a>: Miss Hizreen Safaree, and Miss Zaynab Abbas, who is also a proud student of the Department of<\/span>\u00a0Banking and Finance<\/span><\/a>\u00a0of TIU.<\/span><\/p>\n

No stone was left unturned in the workshop as several question and answer sessions were held throughout, with the CEO of\u00a0<\/span>VARINFX<\/span><\/a>, Mr.\u00a0<\/span>Gezim Vuca<\/span><\/a>\u00a0answering all the questions that were asked by both the students and the staff that attended the workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n

The last session of the workshop was presented by\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Waqar Ahmed<\/span>, Head of Department of\u00a0<\/span>Accounting<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and the Department of\u00a0<\/span>Banking and Finance<\/span><\/a>. He extended his gratitude and presented a certificate of appreciation to the CEO of\u00a0<\/span>VARINFX<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and two of his staff mentioned above.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
