The Department of Business and Management, Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics<\/a> at Tishk International University<\/a>, organised a seminar on Entrepreneurial University Concept.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Entrepreneurial University is a concept developed in the early 1990 s by\u00a0<\/span>Henry Itkowitz.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>By implementing this concept, universities will have autonomy and their budget; there is no need to ask the government to support them with any financial issues. The presenter defined the entrepreneurial university, Triple Helix concept and University spin-offs. He also discussed the essentiality of implementing the concept in the region as a role module during the upcoming years. Furthermore, the presenter negotiated the region’s economic growth opportunities and how entrepreneurial university contributes to it. At the end of the seminar, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from the presenter.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
